Meet The Team

We have been blessed in our journey with Jesus Christ. Growing up in a Pentecostal church on the east coast of Canada, I never imagined the path God had for me. His gentle leading took me from serving locally to Christian Life College, where I advanced in music and theology and met my wife, Holly—my dearest friend and partner in ministry.

Over the past 30+ years, Holly and I have been honored to serve in Nova Scotia, Texas, California, Georgia, and Alaska. In 2017, God called us to plant a church in North Pole, AK. Though we were content assisting Pastor Glover in Sterling, AK, we embraced God’s plan and attended Launch Church Planting Solutions. We're excited about what God is doing in North Pole and beyond.

I currently serve as the Alaska Yukon Children’s Ministries Director. Holly serves as Co-Pastor of North Light, Children’s Director, a teacher at North Light Academy, Music Director, Alaska Yukon A.B.L.E. Ministry Director, and Alaska Yukon Ladies Ministries Secretary.

Our mission is to see lives transformed by God’s Spirit, and we encourage everyone to Be THE Light!

Kristin and I were blessed to be raised by missionary families that taught us to love Jesus Christ and gave us a heart to share His love with others. I spent time in Namibia, Africa, as a child before moving to Alaska at the age of nine. Over the next sixteen years I came to love Alaska and developed a burden for the people of Alaska. Kristin spent much of her childhood in Suriname, South America. She attended Texas Bible College where she studied music.

I graduated with my nursing degree in 2012 and began working in Soldotna, Alaska. In 2014 I felt God leading me to attend Texas Bible College and made the move to Lufkin, Texas. It was there my wife and I were married in 2015.

While in Texas, Kristin and I were blessed to serve at our local church in multiple capacities. In the summer of 2018 we made a trip to Alaska and it was during that time we met with Jeff and Holly Bartlett about being a part of the NLCC team. God was calling us to join them in North Pole, Alaska.

We have since made the move from Texas. I am enjoying being back home in the Great Land. We are excited to see what God will do in the days to come in the city of North Pole.
