Don & Saundra Hanscom
Donald David Hanscom’s ministry provided him the opportunity to serve two pastorates in Ontario, Canada: a total of ten years.
Following the call God placed on his life, in 1973 he took his wife and three small children to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan - preaching crusades, baptizing and witnessing thousands filled with the Holy Ghost, and serving as President and instructor in Pakistan’s Apostolic Bible school. He also served as General Superintendent of the United Pentecostal Church in Pakistan six years while pioneering a new district in the south, while at the same time serving as General Superintendent of the United Pentecostal Church in the nation of Sri Lanka for twelve years.
The Hanscoms also resided in Hong Kong for two years, working among the Chinese, Filipinos and reaching into mainland China. It was during this time that Brother Hanscom also evangelized into many Asian nations.
In 1996, he began serving the UPCI at its World Headquarters as the Director of Multicultural Ministries; serving on the General Board as he continued to serve in this position for 21 years, organizing and establishing many new ministries among many cultural/language communities in North America which produced great results for the Kingdom of God.
Since retiring from the office at the UPCI World Headquarters, the Hanscoms have ministered in Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Australia, Fiji, Austria, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Germany, Senegal, Liberia, Ghana, and Kenya.
